Frederick I of Sweden (1676–1751) was a king of Sweden. He was born in Kassel on 28 April 1676. He died in Stockholm on 25 March 1751, at the age of 75.

Frederick I of Sweden was the son of Charles I, Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel and Maria Amalia of Courland. He married Ulrika Eleonora I of Sweden and Princess Luise Dorothea of Prussia. He had three recorded children, Frederick William von Hessenstein, Hedvig Amalia von Hessenstein and Karl Edvard von Hessenstein. He is recorded as following Reformed Christianity.
