Transition to the New York Giants

Although the San Diego Chargers selected him first in the 2004 NFL draft, a trade immediately sent Manning to the New York Giants. He served as the team's starting quarterback from 2004 through 2019. Throughout this period, he established franchise records for completions, passing yards, and touchdowns, while maintaining an ironclad record of 210 consecutive starts between 2004 and 2017.

Super Bowl Achievements

Manning led the Giants to two Super Bowl victories, specifically Super Bowls XLII and XLVI, against the New England Patriots. In the first instance, his leadership helped defeat a team that had remained undefeated throughout the regular season. His performances in both championships earned him the Super Bowl MVP title, making him one of only six players to achieve this honor multiple times.
