December 31, 1977, marked the birth of Donald John Trump Jr. in Manhattan, New York City. As the eldest child of Donald Trump and Ivana Trump, he transitioned from a role in his family's real estate enterprise to become a prominent media figure, venture capital partner, and political commentator in the United States.

Early Education and Career Beginnings

Trump attended the Buckley School and The Hill School before enrolling at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where he earned a B.S. in Economics in 2000. Following his graduation, he spent a year in Aspen, Colorado, working as a bartender. He subsequently joined the Trump Organization, where he supervised development projects including 40 Wall Street, Trump International Hotel and Tower, and Trump Park Avenue.

Media and Corporate Roles

From 2006 until 2015, Trump served as a guest adviser and judge on the reality television program The Apprentice. His business ventures included the brief launch of Trump Mortgage in 2006. In 2010, he acted as a spokesperson and executive director of global branding for Cambridge Who's Who. By 2023, he expanded his media presence by launching a podcast titled Triggered with Don Jr. on the Rumble platform.

Political Engagement and Investment Ventures

During his father's 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns, Trump acted as a key adviser and advocate. Following his father's term, he pivoted toward new investment interests. In 2024, he became a partner at 1789 Capital and joined the boards of Credova, Unusual Machines, and PublicSquare. In 2025, he co-founded the Washington, D.C.-based private membership club known as Executive Branch alongside partners including David O. Sacks and the Winklevoss twins.

Legal Developments

Throughout his career, his management of family assets drew scrutiny. On February 16, 2024, a legal ruling barred Trump from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation, including the Trump Organization, for a period of two years.
