Early Development and Education

Born in 1986, Agron spent her youth moving between Savannah, San Antonio, and the Bay Area due to her father's career in hotel management. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2005, Agron sought work in musicals but initially secured parts in various television procedurals and series, including Shark, CSI: NY, and Numbers. Her prominence rose significantly through her role in Glee, which earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. She later returned to television as the lead in the Netflix production The Chosen One.

Film and Directing Career

Agron expanded her portfolio into cinema with the 2011 young adult project I Am Number Four. Her filmography includes works such as the mob-comedy The Family, the drama Bare, and the anthology film Berlin, I Love You, which she also helped direct.
