Early Education and Career Beginnings
Mirza attended several schools in Hyderabad, including Vidyaranya High School, Nasr School, and Stanley Junior College, before earning a Bachelor of Arts from Ambedkar Open University. She also studied at New York University. While in college, she worked as a marketing executive at Neeraj's Multi-media Studio while concurrently appearing in television commercials. Following her participation in the Femina Miss India 2000 contest, where she secured the title of second runner-up, she represented India at the Miss Asia Pacific pageant in Manila. She won the title on 3 December 2000, becoming the first Indian woman to achieve this in 27 years.
