Antoine Semenyo, a forward born in London in 2000, developed his professional career through the English football league system before establishing himself in the Premier League. Representing the Ghana national team internationally, he transitioned from academy football to high-level competition, ultimately transferring to Manchester City in a deal valued at £64 million following a successful tenure at Bournemouth.
Early Career and Development
After facing rejections from London clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Millwall, and Crystal Palace, Semenyo reconsidered his path as a footballer. He joined the academy at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College under Dave Hockaday. His rise continued with a brief spell at Highworth Town in 2017 before he signed with the Bristol City academy in September of that year. He gained initial senior experience on loan at Bath City, where he scored six goals in sixteen appearances.
