Born in Kraków in 1980, she maintains a dual commitment to music and philosophy. Academic and Musical Training
Brożek pursued parallel tracks in music and philosophy throughout her education. Between 1999 and 2004, she attended the Academy of Music in Kraków, later continuing her musical studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music from 2006 to 2008. Simultaneously, she completed philosophy studies at the Pontifical University of John Paul II starting in 1999. Her doctorate was finalized at the University of Warsaw in 2006, leading to a habilitation in 2008 and a titular professorship in 2015.

Based at the University of Warsaw, Brożek leads the Laboratory of the Methodology of the Humanities within the Department of Logical Semiotics. Her research focus includes the history of philosophy, particularly the legacy of the Lvov-Warsaw School. She participates in the scientific oversight of the Collegium Invisibile and held a position within the Polish Young Academy for the 2016–2021 term. In 2017, she received the National Science Center Award for her contributions to the humanities, social sciences, and art.
Philosophical and Musical Scholarship
Brożek has produced an extensive body of work addressing erotetics, the theory of questions, and the philosophy of music. Her publications range from Principia musica, a logical analysis of musical terminology, to Theory of Questions and studies on Roman Maciejewski. She has also examined the intersection of art and science, alongside normative theories and imperatives, contributing to both Polish and international philosophical discourses.
