Akosua Busia (born 1966) is a Ghanaian actor and screenwriter. Busia was born in Ghana on 30 December 1966.
Busia is best known for Ashanti, The Final Terror, Louisiana, Badge of the Assassin and The Color Purple. She had begun working by 1979.
The honours on record include NAACP Image Awards. Busia studied at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
