Abu Sayeed Chowdhury (1921–1987) was a Bangladeshi jurist and politician. Chowdhury was born in Tangail on 31 January 1921. He died in London on 2 August 1987, at the age of 66.
Chowdhury held office as President of Bangladesh (1972–1973).
Chowdhury received Honorary Fellow of Bangla Academy and honorary doctor of the University of Calcutta. He studied at University of Calcutta, Presidency University and Mymensingh Zilla School.
