The Golden Buzzer year
Season 12 of America's Got Talent, broadcast in 2017, was unusually strong in young singers, and Green was one of them. The season results table records her as a Golden Buzzer act — the mechanism that lifts a performer straight past the judges' cuts and into the live shows.
She reached the quarter-finals. In a competition that starts with thousands of auditions and ends with one winner, that is a deep run for a 13-year-old, and it put her on national television repeatedly rather than once. Season 12 was a crowded year for young singers — it also produced Christian Guardino's Golden Buzzer run — so a 13-year-old had to be exceptional simply to stay on the schedule.
The night Heidi Klum wept
Talent Recap reported the elimination on 1 September 2017 under a headline about Klum weeping over the loss. The public vote is the point at which a talent show stops being a judged competition and becomes a popularity contest, and it removes acts the judges believe in.
The tears are worth noting for a specific reason: they are the reason a quarter-final exit is remembered at all. Television keeps the moments where the format visibly fails somebody, and Green's elimination became one of them.
From Angelina to Angie
By February 2022 Talent Recap was reporting her career as booming and using a different name: Angie Green, performing with the group Future X. The shift from a solo teenage contestant to a working member of a group is the ordinary path out of a talent show, and it is rarely covered.
The change of name matters for anyone searching for her. Material filed under Angelina Green mostly dates from 2017; anything current is likely to be under Angie Green.
What is documented — and what is not
Documented: her Golden Buzzer on season 12, her quarter-final finish, her age of 13, Miami as her home city, Klum's reaction to her elimination, and her work with Future X as of 2022. The research record gives her birth year as 2004.
Not documented in these sources: which judge pressed her Golden Buzzer, what she sang at the audition, her school or family, and anything after 2022. Those blanks are left blank here rather than filled from fan summaries.

Hacer la prueba de CI →What a deep AGT run is worth
The show produces one winner a season and dozens of performers who are seen by millions and then have to build a career without a prize. Most disappear. The ones who do not usually convert visibility into work — sessions, groups, writing, touring — rather than into a solo record deal.
Green's trajectory fits that pattern exactly: a televised peak at 13, a public elimination that a judge cried over, and then five years later a professional career under a shortened name, in a group, still singing. That is a more common and more durable outcome than a talent-show title.
